Why Open Atrium
What Separates Facilitation from Everything Else
A facilitator is not a therapist, a mediator, or a consultant. Understanding that difference is where the value of this work begins.

Six Reasons Families Work With Us
No Advice, No Agenda
Open Atrium facilitators do not tell families what to do. Every session is structured around what participants want to clarify — not what the facilitator thinks they should resolve.
Written Reflection Summaries
Verbal conversations disappear. Written summaries — drafted from what participants said, not reinterpreted — give families a tangible record of where they landed after each session.
Rhythm Over Urgency
Monthly sessions over a full year build a different kind of trust than a single high-pressure session. Families who take this slower path usually find the conversations more productive and easier to continue on their own.
Records Organisation Included
The annual programme includes four dedicated record-organisation visits. No other facilitation practice in Bangkok pairs document support with facilitated conversation as part of a single service.
Scope-Appropriate Referrals
When a conversation reaches legal, financial, or psychological territory, we say so clearly and refer families to appropriate professionals. We do not attempt to cover ground that belongs to licensed practitioners.
Low Starting Point
The Discovery Conversation at ฿3,800 allows families to experience the work before any longer commitment. Many find it sufficient as a standalone session. There is no pressure to proceed further.
In Depth
Each Benefit, Examined
Qualified Facilitation
Facilitation is a recognised discipline with its own training pathways. The lead facilitator at Open Atrium holds a postgraduate qualification in dialogue facilitation and has worked across multiple cultural contexts in Southeast Asia since 2015.
- Postgraduate training in dialogue facilitation
- 6+ years of family facilitation practice in Bangkok
- Annual continuing professional development
A Structured Process
Each session follows a clear structure: an opening agreement on what the session is for, a period of facilitated conversation, a summary phase, and written documentation. This prevents conversations from running in circles or ending without a clear sense of where things landed.
- Opening agreement on session scope
- Facilitated conversation with speaking time managed
- Written summary shared within 48 hours
Personal Attention Throughout
Open Atrium does not operate at scale. The practice works with a small number of families at any given time, which means each family receives close, consistent attention. You will not be handed off to junior staff or receive standardised materials that were not designed for your situation.
- Lead facilitator personally runs each session
- No standardised scripts
- Session content built around your family's situation
Transparent Pricing
All three service formats are priced clearly on the website. The Discovery Conversation is ฿3,800 for a full hour. The group workshop is ฿4,200 per person for a half-day. The annual programme is ฿23,200 for twelve months of comprehensive support. No hidden fees, no incremental billing.
- Prices stated upfront on the Solutions page
- No per-session billing within the annual programme
- Annual programme payment arranged at the outset

What Sets Us Apart
Three Things We Do That Others Don't
Summaries Written in the Room
The written summary is drafted during the session closure, with all participants present, so every person can verify that what was recorded reflects what was actually said. There is no post-session interpretation.
Document Visits That Are Truly Practical
The records-organisation visits within the annual programme are hands-on. We come to the home, work through documents together with the family, and leave a clearly organised system — not a folder of recommendations.
Workshops Using Open Curricula
The group workshop draws on publicly available communication materials. Families receive a printed booklet and can continue the work independently. We are not trying to create dependency on our services.
